Seven employees from BDC spent the United Way Day of Caring at the Gale Home in Manchester. The morning started out at the Fisher Cats stadium where we were treated to breakfast and speeches from Governor Lynch and Mayor Guinta as well as The Director of United Way and The Upper Room. After the kick off event our group headed over the Gale Home (a non-profit rehabilitation center for seniors). They spent the day weeding the extensive amounts of planting beds, planted mums and laid down mulch. Here is a group shot and (my favorite) Tom holding weeds.
