Introduction

Challenges
The Town wanted to preserve a historic and working apple orchard that is a popular attraction.
Solutions
This was a three-phase job including a 160-acre boundary survey of agricultural property, several subdivisions of land (one deeded to the Town), a lot line adjustment and a large conservation easement. A skating rink was also proposed for use by the town citizens on an adjacent parcel.
